Motorcycle Touring
There is plenty of choice available in this category with modern sports touring tyres performing far better than the older sports tyres in levels of grip they provide. A modern sports touring tyre is just the job here, providing long life and high levels of grip due to the Dual Compounds being used. Whist they can be marginally more expensive to buy, their extended life makes them so much better value for your money in the long run.
A Great Driving Experience and Longer Tyre Life
High Mileage Tyres like the * Bridgestone T32, * Metzeler Roadtec 01 SE, * Pirelli Angel GT2, * Michelin Road 5 all have great wet weather grip due to the high Silca content, while also providing great handling and performance levels.
Adventure Touring Tyres
Which tyre to go for would depend of your Motorbike, for instance Touring on a Harley Davidson or a Honda Goldwing would have different options like the Avon Cobra Chrome and the Bridgestone Exedra Radial. A BMW GS1250 /Adventurer type of Motorbike loaded up with Luggage would be better Suited to Metzeler Roadtec 01 SE.
There is always a certain degree of trade off between fuel efficiency / low rolling resistance, longevity, speed and handling qualities, something that means you can really do with expert advice. Motorcycle Sports
Motorbike Sports tyres are designed for that sportier feeling and generally the tyres profile design is sharper to make them tip into bends quicker and with ease, Ideal for bikes like the Suzuki GSXR, Honda Fireblade, Ducati Panigale and the Triumph Speed Triple.
There is a lot of modern sports tyres to choose from, all giving good levels of mileage, wet weather grip and outstanding dry grip compared to the tyres of 15 years ago. In these ‘old days; you had to either have a tyre that was great in the Dry but shocking in the wet, or have a great ‘wet’ tyre that wore out very quickly. Today you are spoilt for choice, with modern tyre design and development making them Sticky (providing that all important grip, in the wet or the dry) as well as lasting 1000's of miles.
Our recommendations for your Sports bike would be * Bridgestone S22,* Continental Sport Attack 4, * Michelin Power 5, * Metzeler Sportec M9RR, * Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4, Any of these recommendations will certainly enhance the feel and performance of your Sports bike but if I was to truly recommend one of these from personal experience would be the * Bridgestone S22 as they inspire so much confidence when driving.
